Our
Stories

Palak

Christopher has been my best friend since that fateful night in October of 2016 brought us together for a study group in Mugar library. I was eighteen when I met him and ten short years later, we are getting married.

Our relationship mirrors the wisdom that Kahlil Gibran shares in his lovely poem, On Marriage. It is the foundational text that we've built our relationship on and will choose to follow after our union as a married couple, with our closest friends and family serving as witnesses.

Christopher and I have grown leaps and bounds as people and professionals since we've met. I can only look towards him with a sense of fantastical wonder as to what adventures await us in our future.

Christopher

We had been friends for nearly two years by the fall of 2018.  Fate (and concert schedules) left all of our friends busy, and us free for a Saturday night dinner before your birthday.  I made us a reservation at a fancy restaurant in Seaport, under the guise of: “It’s Saturday night, we have to do something”.  I was nervous and hoped you were too.  After one of our first “just us two” dinners, we walked back the hour and four minutes to your dorm.  I wish it had been longer.

Eight years of ludicrously long walks have brought us as close can be.  I feel blessed with every step (and everyday) with my best friend.  To many, many more!
